In Good Company is a boutique recruitment firm built on the belief that careers are a meaningful part of life — but not the whole story. Founded by Katherine Korytkowski, a globally experienced recruiter with deep roots in the tech and investor ecosystem, she helps exceptional people find executive, technical, and investment roles.
What kinds of roles do you work on?
We specialize in executive, technical, and investment roles — from Head of Engineering to Partner at a venture fund. That includes CTOs, Staff Engineers, Product Leaders, and Operating Partners.
Do I need to be actively job searching to work with you?
Not at all. Many of our relationships begin before a candidate is looking. We’re happy to be a sounding board until the timing feels right.
What’s the cost to candidates?
There’s no fee for candidates — ever. We’re compensated by the companies we partner with to help them hire exceptional people.
Can I reach out even if I’m not sure what I want next?
Absolutely. We’re here to help you think things through. Even if we don’t have the right role today, we’re invested in your long-term success.
How do you choose which companies to work with?
We partner with founders, investors, and leadership teams who value integrity, clarity, and human-centered hiring. We don’t work with clients we wouldn’t recommend to you.
When I’m not helping startups build great teams, you’ll usually find me somewhere between Austin and Uruguay — both places I now call home. I split my time between the two, spending off-hours in Uruguay brushing up on Spanish, volunteering at a penguin rescue along the coast, and watching sunsets. In Austin you'll find me two stepping, hanging out at the Continental Club listening to James McMurtry, and occasionally taking a cold plunge into Barton Springs.
